RSS

Well, bloglines is an interesting web site. I had no difficulty signing in to the site, but it only took a few of my picks to start. I had to go back and add more sites individually. Not hard, but I don't know why they did not come up to start. It will be interesting to see if I actually use the site. It may be just the thing to save time, I hope.

technology

The Flicker web site illustrates how people love to share their experiences with others. No longer are we in the era of 'look at my photo album'. It is now 'take a look at my on-line pictures, here is my group address'. If you are not connected to the internet, you have no idea how much information you are missing.

blogs

My feelings on blogs. When I am having difficulty working something out, it helps to write it out. I don't feel the same desire to write when everything is working well.
The idea of lifelong learning is a new concept to me. As an avid reader, I guess I am already a lifeling learner, but I tend to read fiction. If I read more technical manuals ( vista, web 2.0, etc), will I be a better learner, or is fiction just as important as non-fiction? Obviously, I choose to believe whatever I read will enrich me.
