Well, I looked at some Wiki sites recommended by 23 things. I can see the best use for these are with a group of people with similar interests. In the example a group of friends were planning a trip. This I can see as a great use for Wikis. I can even see this as a great resource for event planning, however, I have issues with sites edited by the public. Not that there are any guarantees. The general public may have more knowledge than an individual, but I see so many chances for error. As long as the sites are monitored for accuracy, I guess I can see the attraction.
